Scrub Donations Needed
Posted about 9 years ago by Christy Lenahan
Good Morning Everyone,
We just wanted to share the following announcement from LSNA concerning our friends in Baton Rouge. Please consider donating if you have any extra scrubs.
Sincerely,
Christy & Deedra
Friends:
As we continue to assess how we can help our less fortunate colleagues affected by the rains and flooding, it has come to our attention that nurses at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge are in dire need of scrubs for work. In an attempt to support those who are providing care to others while dealing with their own losses, District IV will be collecting new or gently worn items to transport down to them by Friday afternoon or Saturday.
Please check your closets to determine what you might be able to spare, or perhaps you can seek donations from our local uniform shops. Anything you can do will be appreciated beyond our understanding. The aftermath of the recent weather events is having, and will continue to have, historical impact on Louisiana. Since we don't have a central location for drop off, please contact Graci Breaux 337-322-4173 or me 337-344-4987 to make arrangements for pickup.
Yours in Nursing,
Patricia La Brosse
President
LSNA District IV
