Nurse Practitioner

The Gastro Clinic is a team of dedicated and accomplished professionals utilizing state of the art technology and proven methods to provide exceptional patient care.  We are recruiting for a full-time nurse practitioner who shares our passion for ensuring superior inpatient and outpatient care in the field of gastroenterology.

 

Responsibilities:

• Proactively collaborates with physicians, clinic staff and patients to provide effective health management in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Provides assessments, examinations, diagnoses, and treatments for patients.
• Orders diagnostic testing, evaluates test results, and provides treatment plans.
• Documents information for patient records and business operations.
• Responds promptly to patient inquiries.

 

Qualifications:

• Master of Science in Nursing studies or a related field.
• CPR and ACLS certifications.
• Appropriate medical related licenses.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to accuracy.
• Ability to present information professionally and respectfully.
• Good working knowledge of electronic medical records.
• Prescriptive authority experience.
• One year experience working in gastroenterology is preferred.

 

Hours of Work:

• Monday through Friday, 8am – 5pm.
• Periodic weekend and holiday work, and on call availability.
