Christmas Party and NP Field Trip

Thank you to everyone who attended our Christmas Party and a huge thank you to Laura Kight of The Kite Clinic for graciously hosting the party and providing the food. I'd also like to highlight our incoming co-rep, Marti Andries. She will be taking the place of Christy Lenehan.

Our speakers included Kayla Stansbury with Catholic Charities of Acadiana and Lizette Rignault with Lafayette Community Fridge. They are doing wonderful work in the community and I recommend seeking them out and donating to them, if you are able. Kayla was kind enough to offer up a sort of field trip for our group to learn more about Catholic Charities of Acadiana and see the behind the scenes work that is being done. Looking at tentatively planning this for end of January (1/23 or 1/30) for a Friday afternoon/evening. Kayla even offered up a weekend option and we will keep that in mind.
